Changing colors of bubble machine generator

Hello All,

Using the bubble machine generator and wondering how I can change the color of those bubbles from blue to white.

I see options "colorize, over life," etc.., but white won't stick. I choose it but blue always returns.

I see an option at the bottom of the emitter prefs for putting something different into the well but when I import a white circle I don't know how to get it over there

to the well. Dragging doesn't work.

Thanks,

Al

There is another easier option if all you want is a different color bubble: apply a color correction filter to the original blue bubble.

Select the bubble, click on Library->Filters->Color Correction, choose e.g. Colorize and change the color of the bubble. You may also be able to export this so you can manipulate it later in FCP X.

Edit: I tested and it works, keyframable and all!

Thanks Luis.

I was going to say that might be it :-)

The emitter has a source media that is by default an image of a blue bubble.

I don't know where you are changing the color, but the actual image being the same I imagine this won't work just like that.

One has the ability to select any other image as source, or even using a drop zone.
